Collective Investment Schemes
A Collective investment scheme (CIS), also known as an 'open-ended' fund derives its value by the performance of its underlying investment portfolio. The fund is normally invested according to a specific investment objective and its underlying portfolio is generally well diversified in terms of number of holdings, investment types, economic sectors, and geographical location.
Some of the benefits of open-ended funds include risk diversification and affordability, as they generally require minimal amounts of required investments to get in. Open-ended funds generally hold the characteristics of choice, liquidity, and convenience.
As CIS manager, ACM has a selection of equity, bond and alternative investment funds that it manages in collaboration with its investment advisors which offer worldwide geographical coverage.
